Self Defense Self Protection Weapons

The self-protection weapons in the market have seen a level of growth as people have had more of a desire for protection for both themselves and those that they care about. Many these tools of the trade are usually in the form of a spray, such as pepper sprays and in some countries Mace is still allowed. Another alternate form is in the electric shock weapons like a taser and other items that deliver a dose of electrical shock.
Some additional forms have been in development that would disable the person without running the risk that these other forms can present. The risks with someone having a weak heart or an allergic reaction has made these more common methods face some scrutiny, but the advantages that they offer usually out weigh this. Still, it is this critical eye that has made items like mace and other chemical based spray not available to the general public. The most common problem it that many people suffer severe reactions to these and also suffer more long term effects that have made them items that require a tighter leash.
In most cases the self-protection weapons are fashioned to disable an attacker so that the person can flee and seek help from either the law or other people. It is a method that is common in many self-defence classes where the person is taught how to disable and flee rather than fight. This is the basis for any self-protection, as the person must ensure that they will have no hard come to them.
Many of the designs that have been shown in the self-protection weapons industry were fashioned after methods shown in science fiction. As the fiction is based on some reality, the reality takes the leap to make this a real tool. These items have resulted in a consistent drop in certain types of crimes when they were involved. In most cases, a person is encouraged that they learn how to properly use such a toll as many view them as a weapon.
As with all technology, the electronic versions of self-protection weapons have evolved. The sprays have been developed that a person can obtain them as a more pressurized delivery system. This in simple terms means that they are able to deliver them over a longer distance and with a better level of accuracy. This makes these alone much more powerful and where a person can have a better chance of fleeing.
The electric delivery base self-protection weapons have been fashioned to be ranged so that the person doesn't have to be in contact with their adversary to just get away. This also minimizes the chances of the person suffering feedback from such a powerful weapon.
