How to Use Scrapbook Layouts

Scrapbooking is a fun way to express yourself while you are displaying some of your most treasured memories. Many people find that making scrapbooks are the best way to utilize their creative talents. The first step you will take in creating a great scrapbook layout is to determine if you want to work with a theme or not. However, if you are just scrapbooking pictures that really have no common theme, you will want to vary your layouts from page to page to reflect the subject of the photographs.
A themed scrapbook will utilize similar colors, patterns and shapes on each page. This way, your book will have a consistent look and be more pleasing to the eye. The way to vary the layouts from page to page while still keeping a consistent theme is to vary the placement of the pictures, the size of the pictures, and try to use the patterns, colors, and shapes in different elements on each page. This way, you will have a stunning scrapbook to show your friends and family.
