What is a Final Scratch Record and can it be used for with PA Systems

Available in Standard which is very thick and Scratch which are very thin versions, both are compatible with Final Scratch 2.0/1.5 and include new lead-in grooves for more accurate cueing to give you the ultimate in timing and may result in you becoming a better mixer. Final Scratch 1.0 users should use Final Scratch 1.0 records. As with any vinyl record, the more you play them the faster they wear out, so make sure you have plenty of Final Scratch Records on hand!

This record's thicker weight makes it ideal for club and mix DJs who need more accurate control while mixing and matching beats. The Standard record also features both 33 1/3 revolutions per minute and 45 revolutions per minute time code signals to accommodate any mixing style.

The 33 1/3 revolutions per minute side have 15 minutes of time code while the 45 revolutions per minute side have 12 minutes. Visual cue markers make it easy to drop loops when using Final Scratch 2.0's new Loop Pool feature. Depending on the timings of your mixing and beat matching, Side A has 1 track with 15 minutes at 33 revolutions per minute with 15 x 1 minute stripes for cueing, Whilst side B has 1 track of 12 minutes at 45 revolutions per minute with 15 x 48 sec. stripes for cueing making it very versatile product. The Final scratch record is about 180 grams making it ideal to pop into your record box just in case without having to worry about carrying heavy equipment.

If you intend on broadcasting through a pa system you should look for one that is portable. You should get something that is portable with wheels and a pullout handle for manoeuvring and with a pole mount for sitting on top of a speaker stand. A system with just one single speaker, though you can buy additional active or passive units to add and supplement the sound from a large range of PA systems. We recommend buying the system with a single lightweight speaker stand and a waterproof cover to ensure it remains portable and even use it in wet conditions.
