The Tour de Force that is Aleksander and Fedor Emelianenko

Born in Rubizhne, Luhansk in 1976 (at the time, it was part of the Soviet Union but is currently part of Ukraine), Fedor Emelianenko originally came from rather humble beginnings. The second of four children, Fedor Emelianenkos mother was a teacher and his father worked in a steel mill.
Considering where he came from, it is really rather surprising that Fedor Emelianenko would grow up to become such a huge mixed martial arts superstar. What makes him and his family truly astonishing is that out of the three Emelianenko brothers, all of them are working as professional fighters. While the youngest brother, Ivan, does not train quite at the level that Aleksander and Fedor Emelianenko does, it is still extremely impressive.
In 1991, Fedor Emelianenko graduated from high school and went on to attend a professional trade school, which he graduated with honors from in 1994. For two years, starting in 1995, Fedor Emelianenko served as a military firefighter in the Russian Army. In 1997, he won his first fighting championship title, taking out all of the competition at the Russian National Championships.
After he was finished protecting and serving his home country, he married his first wife, Oksana. In 1999, the same year Fedor Emelianenko got married, he had his first child, a daughter whom he named Marsha.
Fedor Emelianenko and his wife stayed together for around seven years before they split up and got divorced. The same year his marriage to Oksana ended, he began a new family with Marina, which was the woman he dated after Oksana. In late December of 2007, Fedor Emelianenko had his second daughter, which he named Vasilisa.
Considering the fact that out of twenty eight fights Fedor Emelianenko has lost only one, it is rather amazing how down to earth and quiet he is in his personal life and private time. An introspective soul, Fedor Emelianenko is someone who likes to read, listen to music and draw when he has the time to.
Professionally, Fedor Emelianenko has been nothing but a huge success. The last person to ever win the PRIDE heavyweight championship, Fedor Emelianenko has been hailed as the best heavyweight fighter in the world by many well known publications including ESPN, the Orange County Register, The Houston Chronicle, The Wrestling Observer, The Fight Network and Inside MMA. Fedor Emelianenko has fought all over the world in many international fights, including as far away as Japan.
