Csrss.exe is the main executable process which manages almost all of the graphical commands in the Windows operating system, Microsoft Client Server Runtime Server Subsystem. This program is needed for the stability of your system and the security of the operation of your system. This process should never be terminated or your system could become unstable. For essential programs and applications to work correctly, Csrss.exe must be able to run, so experts agree that you should never end this legitimate program.
The problem with Csrss.exe is that it is possible for an electronic infection to use the same name and executable as this essential program. Many malicious programs, such as viruses, worms, and Trojans, will use the names of files which are normally found on your computer, making it harder to detect these electronic infections and making removal nerve wracking for most users.
