Make Money By Setting Effective Goals

True goal setters will often start goal setting with a financial goal. In fact I started in such a way, as many do. It is specific and generally is something tangible. Though many people don't set correct goals, and only a few will achieve the financial goal. Here is why.
Henry Ford once said that if you chase money, you will not find it. I have found it also applies in a similar way to women! By chasing something we actually push it away. I remember my dad once saying that if you have one of those beach balls go into the sea, never chase it. As you try to grasp the ball, it simply goes deeper and deeper into the sea, where a point comes where you are in dire straits and need help!
Money is same, if we chase it, we can get ourselves stuck, and need to get unstuck. Many years ago, in my teens; having read a book Think And Grow Rich, given to me by my dad, I set a goal of achieving 100 pounds million in my lifetime. That was and still is my goal, and though I have not reached that goal just yet, I know I will.
A lesson has been learned however, and instead of simply looking at Henry Ford's statement and holding it as true, I experienced it for myself. I tried chasing money, and it came to the point where I was on $0.
Now, to become unstuck, how do you set financial goals and achieve them? First it is understanding service. Millions of people have been in and out of home business opportunities - AKA get rich quick schemes. However, are they really get rich quick schemes? Many of the people think they are, and unfortunately they have had people promoting these genuine opportunities as a way to get rich quick.
No one wants to give you money. But, if you want a million, and you sell televisions, and a million people want a TV, can't you become an instant millionaire? This is a valuable lesson, and one which took me a couple of years to learn.
Understanding what you want, whether it is the financial goal or any other goal is critical. However, it is by indirectness that you will make the money. The money is a byproduct of something called - value. Simply you must provide value. And goal setting is only part of the process, but not the whole process.
When you think of the word beautiful woman or handsome man, and when you look at a beautiful woman or handsome man there is a lot more than simply words. There is feeling, and emotions, and a multitude of other things than simply beautiful woman or handsome man. I use this example as we can all relate to it, possibly much more than what a million dollars looks like.
You goals are same. Even though it is a million, it often conjures in our minds an unknown. Many people set the million dollar goal, but few achieve it, because they don't know what else is a part of it. The dedication to making it happen, and what value must be given to get that result. Instead they focus on the result, and it becomes a daydream rather than a working fact.
