Also, there is no need to limit yourself to looking at personality traits; physical attributes are just as important in building a relationship. If you are not physically attracted to someone as well, you may find it hard to make the relationship last. Gay dudes have all types of personalities and looks, so being picky is not something you have to feel bad about. You are the only person who needs to be happy in this relationship; it does not matter what anyone else thinks or says to you.
Spending the time to find the right person from the start is the fundamental key in exercising patience. By taking this time and being patient before jumping into a relationship, it will allow you to know things about someone before things get too serious. Ultimately, this is what will build a strong relationship that will be able to weather all types of storms. If you and your partner create a sturdy foundation in the beginning then you can both feel confident and secure when you decide it is time to take the next step.
