Investing is no different. If someone wants to be a great investor, they must study the moves of those who have been most successful. Investing is the way to get your money working for you instead of you having to work for your money.
In time, your investments will generate more than enough income for you to live on allowing you to focus your time on what you really want. Invest monthly into this fund and reinvest all dividends. Many people do not have the discipline to save money every month.
Invest both time and money wisely. It is stupid wasting time making personal attack here. Invest in equities through thick and thin. Keep a long term horizon and ignore the short term noise.
Investing in individual shares brings along too much costs, certainly in the beginning when you are working with relatively low amounts of money. Furthermore it is difficult to spread your investment over many different shares, when investing in individual shares.

Freedom from a job they hate, to spend time with the kids, to travel. Choice of how to spend their time, whether to have another baby, where to live. Freedom to walk on a tropical beach with the one you love whilst 90% of the population is busy slaving away at a job that will never give them that sort of freedom.
