Tips for Guys to Meet Women

It's tough being a guy. Traditionally speaking, it's still incumbent on the guy to make the first move and ask a girl out on a date. Thankfully, more and more, girls are taking the initiative. The trouble is, it's like getting picked for teams in grade school. You never know when your name will be called. Therefore, guys must take charge of their own love life. But where does a guy go to meet a girl beyond the standard nightclubs and bars? For the guy who isn't afraid to open himself up to new experiences, he'll have no trouble finding a potential partner.
Let's face it, most guys don't like to dance. It's embarrassing to them and they suffer from two left feet. Well get over yourselves. All the better to join dance classes. You'll never lack a dance partner as men are scarce in dance classes. Lots of women would be very willing to show you the proper dance steps.
Along the same lines, I'd also recommend that guys sign up for cooking classes. I'm sure this is nothing new. It's a high school ploy so if high school kids can think up of this, why not try it now that you're all grown up. The same numbers logic for the male to female ratio applies.
For another tip, I'd recommend going through a listing of cultural events that are happening in your city. The benefit is the fact that you're a foreigner in an ethnic party so you stand out. People are extremely hospitable during these parties. Be prepared to bring an appetite as lots of women will attempt to feed you. What a great conversation starter to talk about culture. Right away, it will let her know that you are interested in her background so bonus points from the beginning.
I have talked about stepping outside the comfort zone in order to meet women and to experience something new. But to be totally honest, single women are everywhere. They fill up for gas, they buy groceries, they wash their clothes at laundromats. It's up to you to pick up on the tell tail signs. The most obvious would be a wedding ring but other subtle clues involve looking at what she's buying and the quantity. After you have established the woman of interest, it's about getting into the right frame of mind and having the guts to strike up a conversation where it isn't the traditional dating meat market. Once again, it's about extending your boundaries of comfort. It might be hard at first but afterwards, these opportunities to meet women are endless.
