Chances are you will drive your ex further away. He/she will start becoming more defensive and will stir up even more argument.
2) Never contact your ex too many times in a day
This is especially important if your ex does not wish to talk to you for the time being. By calling more often, it can make you appear needy. I believe you do not wish to be perceived as a needy person by your ex. So, don't do it.
If you have just broken up, it is best that you give yourself and your ex some time to cool down before your start contacting him.
There are also other things that you should not do but we will not discuss it in this article. I have listed the above two because those are the most common mistakes that people made because they are not aware of them.
By not doing those two things, you will not risk reducing your chances of getting back with your ex.
