Perhaps, you can't reach him through the phone. But you know he is going to XYZ street on Friday. So you purposely go there to meet him coincidentally. Don't try that trick. Both of you know it is not a coincidence. It makes the situation worse.
3) Don't ask his friends or family members why he break up with you
Maybe you think he has a new girlfriend, or have other reasons why he wants to break up with you. So you decide to find out from his friends and family members. Don't do that.
First, you may not manage to find out the real reason even after doing that. Second, it lands you in a rather embarrassing situation if he ever find out.
There are of course other things that you want to avoid doing. Generally, the guideline here is that you want to avoid doing those things that make you seem desperate or needy. By not doing these things, you will increase the chances to get ex boyfriend back.
