Wireless Software

Wireless software is software applications that are downloaded to wireless devices. The best known wireless software is probably that which is utilized by 99.99% of the teenagers in the United States. Cell phones users download wireless software in the form of ringtones, background art, and text messaging. The more expensive phones use wireless software to download music and video clips, even the internet and e-mail. Some of the newer phones out there, I think, come with the option to do the dishes and discipline the dog. Well, maybe not, but I would bet there is a wireless software developer out there working on these things right now.Cell phones may be the most well known users of wireless software applications, but their impact on the wide world of wireless software is minimal. You might want to keep that information to yourself, however, and avoid a long argument with your teenage daughter. Devices like PDAs, Blackberries and wireless notebooks use wireless software in many forms. Businesses use wireless software to keep up to the minute inventories and invoices, providing better customer service than ever before. Business to business sales calls and transactions are handled without two people ever meeting face to face via wireless software. News services and entertainment companies are using wireless software to get their product on the air via podcasts. Gone are the good old days when Mom had no idea where I was and no way to tell me it was time to come home. Now I can track down my kids using cell phones and pagers, and catch them in their lies by checking their GPS devices. Now that I’m the parent of teenagers, I can see how handy wireless software has become. I especially enjoy the wireless software that allows me to record all the keystrokes on the wireless notebook computers they couldn’t live without.I miss the days of face to face communication and getting handwritten letters in the mail. I miss the days when it didn’t take so long to flip through the cable channels that you’ve ended up missing your show. Thanks to wireless software, though, I am able to celebrate the days gone by watching Gunsmoke episodes over the internet on my iPhone. I’m also not forced to keep my teenagers locked in their bedrooms. I can always know where they are and what they are up to, thanks to wireless software.
