Ebooks - Have Fun Writing

Ebooks - Have Fun Writing

E-books are just electronic versions of regular books or journals but they frighten people if you suggest writing one. There is no longer any need for delaying with the simple process detailed below. There is no reason why at first you cannot hire other people to carry out some if not all the work for you until you feel confident enough to ‘go it alone'.Once you've decided on a topic for your E-Book, and have done research to ensure that people are looking for and buying information on this topic, write a series of articles. Articles are less intimidating to write than a book, and you can use some of the articles as promotional tools to create demand for your forthcoming book. This is a simple process whereby the promotional articles are sent to directories for insertion; the number of views they get will provide a good indication just how much interest there is in the subject. While you're writing the articles you will need to develop your e-Book's overall structure. Books generally follow a familiar structure of: introduction, main subject content and a conclusion but it is becoming very common to see an additional section on resources. Many books now contain bonus material to give it more value and increase the number of people that buy it.Normally authors will write an article and then insert it into their e-book as this gives them an idea of how it will look when it is completed. Because e-books are usually shorter than a printed version, no-one wants to read material that has been added that is not related so it is best to stay close to the topic of the book. As computer screens are notoriously awkward to read with comfortably, a shorter more concise book is appreciated. Most e-books provide bonus material so if you can find some include this as it will be welcomed. Your bonus material could include a small report (just write two or three additional articles), checklists, or add templates. However, as with all the material you create for your e-Book, ensure that your bonus material is relevant because it should be valuable on its own.
