If this isn't really in your start up budget, there are many other options. One thing that works well and is free is to promote your blog by leaving comments on other blogs that are in your niche. By promoting your blog this way, you can gain new readers and make money on the internet.
Commenting On Other Blogs
Although this may seem like such a foreign idea to you, it really does make sense and many people are taking advantage of things. As you start reading blogs, you will notice this on other blogs that are similiar to yours. Now start to think about how many people will read these same blogs and notice the comment you are going to make. Don't forget to add a link to your own blog posts when you leave a comment.
AS you leave comments, you don't have to make it seem as though you are better or more smart then the author. But just let the readers know that you have something else important to add to the topic. And then follow through with your promises. Try to make your blog worth their time to click the link and read what you have to say. That way they will want to come back again and again.

If you really put forth your best effort, then you will be able to find hundreds of different ways that you can advertise your blog. You just have to look into it and try new and different things all the time!
