How Anchors Affect You In Life

How you ever wondered why sports company Nike pays sports stars millions of dollars to wear their merchandising bearing the famous Swish Nike Logo?
That is because they understand the power of anchoring.
When people saw Michael Jordan making that fantastic dunk and flying in the air, they will see the Nike Swish. When people see Tiger Woods hitting the perfect swing, they will see that Nike Swish.
Sure enough, seeing these sports stars in action adorning the "Swish" symbol inevitably linked all these great feelings of intense state of motivation and inspiration from the stars to the symbol.
These states of power, motivation, and confidence were all anchored to that visual "Swish" logo of Nike. Somehow, when people wear a Nike cap or put on Nike shoes, they feel these same great states.
But you do not need wait for a company to spend millions of dollars to anchor you to their products; you can anchor yourself again with your own moves, your own visual anchors, your own auditory anchors.
Anchors cause us to fall in and out of love.
By the way, do you know how people fall deeply in love with each other? They get fantastic feelings of love anchored to each other's face and voice. When you go out with someone, have a great time, really loving and liking everything about that person, you get all these great feelings inside!
As you keep seeing that person's face and hear that person's voice, eventually what happens? Their face and their voices get anchored to all those great feelings of love and care.
So every time you see that person, every time you think about that person or hear that person's voice, you feel wonderful.
Conversely, do you know why people fall out of love after a while?
It is because lousy anchors are slowly created and they destroy the good anchors. When you are in a relationship, you are bound to have misunderstandings and quarrels after a while.
And as you quarrel and see that person's face and voice, repeating this process numerous times, what do you think would happen?
All these lousy feelings of hurt and anger would eventually get link to that person's voice and face. So over time, thinking of that person immediately will give you lousy feelings and that is why many people eventually fall out of love and break up.
Think about it. If advertisers spend millions of dollars to constantly anchor powerful their brands, isn't it time you took control and started creating powerful anchors for yourself?
