Huffy Basketball Hoop For Beginners And Professionals

The Huffy basketball hoop is one of the most popular hoops available in the market. It is known for its durability and ease of installation. Huffy also believes in innovation, and continues to come up with new products. Its current product range includes portable hoops, in-ground hoops, backboard and rim combinations.

The portable hoops, according to Huffy, make up for almost 80 per cent of hoop sales. The biggest advantage of these hoops is that they can be rolled across to any point. These hoops have a base that can be filled with water or sand to provide stability. Since the base is mounted on wheels it can be rolled back into the storeroom after the game is over.

The portable hoop range starts with InstaHoop, which costs $159. 99. This hoop has an easy and fast assembly, and can be assembled without any tools. The InstaHoop has a
telescoping backboard mount, which can adjust backboard height in 6" increments from 7.5' to 10'.

The mid-range portable hoops include Pick 'N Roll, Spalding Back Court portable and Center Court Portable. All these come with steel framed acrylic backboards. They also have ExactaHeight lift system that allows for easy height adjustment.

The most expensive and the most versatile portable Huffy hoops are Pro Arena TM, EZ Touch TM and Power Move. The Power Move, which costs $649.99, has a 52" acrylic backboard with heavy-duty 1"x2" square corner steel frame and a 5/8" heavy-duty solid steel Pro Slam breakaway rim. It has a push thumb button to raise and lower the backboard, and adjust the height from 7.5' to 10'.

The in-ground systems require the basketball pole to be set in concrete. These hoop options are best if you have a basketball court. You also need outside help to install them because not everyone is good at mixing cement. Removing them also is a problem. The floor has to be cemented again. However, in terms of stability the in-ground Huffy hoops are the best. The players can even swing from the backboard or the basket without causing damage.

Spalding In Ground, which costs $339.99, is a popular in-ground Huffy hoop. It has a
48" smoked acrylic backboard with steel frame. The backboard comes equipped with a board pad to protect board edges.

For those who play basketball around their homes, the Huffy backboard and rim combinations are the best. They can be attached with ease to any flat structure. However, to do so mounting bracket is also needed.
