Every child has a dream to own toys, no wonder children have their most precious memories attached to their toys. This is applicable to those children who are fortunate enough to buy, play and own toys. But there are also children within the US and around the globe, who have never seen a single toy in their whole life. If you have piled unsorted stuffed animals and toys that are relatively new and have been mildly used, you can consider donating them to the less fortunate children. There are several websites that give you information about various charitable organizations who will accept your donated toys.
In fact if you can use a little more time and effort you can explore other ways of donating stuffed animals. Even if you are not aware of any of the agencies or organizations all that you would need to find an agency or an organization that will accept your stuffed animal donations is a phone book or an internet connection. Once you type in three words 'Donate stuffed animals' in the search engine your screen will be flooded with several options. In fact you can even just call up the police station in your neighborhood or a Sheriff's department and let them know about your willingness to donate stuffed animals. They will be more than happy to accept them as donations because those stuffed animals are often used by them again for children who are involved in legal matters like custody etc or probably to calm down a child who has just met with an accident.
If you are net savvy person and have access to technology then you can also put up a small add on the Internet, probably on your friend's web page to let the charitable organizations know that you have stuffed animals to donate. You will have to donate a stuffed animal once to know what joy you feel for bringing the smile on tender face that has seen a lot of turmoil an difficult times too soon in life.
