The Time It Really Takes To Succeed

By Kathryn Wozniak

The Time It Really Takes To Succeed

I was thinking the other day - just how fast do most people succeed in internet marketing? The answer of course is different for everyone. It depends on several things.

First: What program are you promoting? Are you doing a prepackaged program with everything included? Are you trying to promote your own self made program or product? How much work has already been done for you or how much will you have to do yourself?

Second: How much time are you willing to commit per day to work on your business? Are you able to commit only 2 or 3 hours or are you able to put in 5 - 8 hours? There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with putting in only a couple of hours a day. Just realize that it will take you longer to accomplish your task.

Third: How much do you know about computers, the internet and how these things work. If you are coming from a place where you know a lot about the computer world - you will obviously have an edge. If not - you will need to spend some time learning about the computer world .

Lastly: Your mindset comes into play here. If your only reason for getting into the business to get rich quickly you will be highly disappointed. While there are many scams out there that promise you you can get rich quick and I suppose there are a few people who do, the vast majority of programs are meant to be programs that you work at over time to secure a future.

You also need to think about the reason you are getting into this business. Are you panicking about something personal happening in your life - like job loss or bills piling up? This is not a good reason to get into business. You need to understand that this is not a miracle cure and you will not become 'rich' overnight.

In my own personal journey I wanted to begin a business that I could retire into after a couple of years of work. I was getting tired of what I had been doing over the past few years. My family was growing up and out of my current home business and I felt like it was time for a change. I looked into many jobs and business ideas to see what was out there. I decided that working on the computer was going to be the way to go. I tried a few offers that were out there and was very disappointed in them. I was becoming discouraged and yes even depressed.

I eventually came accross a program that fit what I was looking for and my lifestyle and my personal knowledge of the computer world (not much - let me tell you ) and my finances. This is the program that I have been working on and it is in my information at the bottom of this article if you are interested. I have been working on this program for awhile now. Am I where I want to be? No not yet but I will be.

So - how long does it take to be successful? Well - just what is your definition of success? To some people it's making $100 a month. To others it's making $10,000 a month. My suggestion is this - don't quit your day job - not just yet anyway Research and find a proven quality program that fits your personal needs, make yourself some realistic goals and begin taking baby steps towards your future.

Expect to work on your new business a minimum of a couple of hours a day or more for several months before you begin to see any major amount of success. Plan on this business as your future and treat it that way and you will become successful.
