The apparel that a woman chooses to wear to bed is very personal and private at times. Some women wear teddies as undergarments with business suits and feel very self-assured that they are displaying an image that many men will lose sleep over.
The sleepwear styles of intimate apparel allow women to accommodate many moods. Some women prefer short gowns during the summer but will don flannel nightgowns to keep them warm on a cold winter night. There are intimate apparel sets that allow women to color coordinate their sleepwear wardrobe while saving money on the cost of buying the intimate apparel items separately later on in life.
Many women like to don sleepwear that a man in their life wears to bed. Some relationships get closer because a woman is reminded of a lover just by the scent that is left behind on pajamas that were left behind after a long weekend. A woman might choose to wear just the tops to the pajamas until the man returns and fondly comment on how they made her think of him every moment that she was wearing them.
Some intimate apparel choices are never returned to the owner but are visited often because the women looks so good while wearing them. A man will enjoy the intimate apparel choices even more that a woman wears simply because the sleepwear used to belong to him. A man might choose some intimate apparel souvenirs that a lover has worn to take home and treasure. It's a good bet that the man will visit the intimate apparel worn for sleeping at a lover's house but not have to worry about losing a night's sleep over never being able to wear it again.
