How To Choose The Proper Bra For Your Daily Wear And More

Years ago all bras were very similar and the choices a woman had were quite limited. These days with the introduction of varied and diverse designs from companies like Victoria's Secret women have a treasure chest of different styles and colors in their lingerie drawers. Now women no longer have to settle for just a basic white bra, they can have bras for work, for going out and in just about any imaginable color.

Spaghetti strap tops and dresses have inspired the creation of the razorback bras while the popular low cut cleavage showing designs have led to push up and padded style bras. All of these new designs have been brought forth by virtual battles between designers and innovations in fabrics which have allowed the bra to become very sophisticated. Every bra maker seems to be looking to create the next new design that no one has thought of before. The advances in technology in recent years are making all of these new designs possible.

The onslaught of high fashion lingerie designs has also brought about an explosion of specialty boutiques. In addition to much larger and specialized lingerie sections in large department stores there are many independent design firms that are filling needs that some of the larger companies don't meet. These designers make bras that are very sexy and stylish for women of all shapes and sizes to help anyone look their best in their clothes. All women should bear in mind that there are five essential must have types of bras that will work for just about any situation.

The first type that a woman needs is the seamless T-shirt bra with very thin molded cups that gives great support and shape while not being revealing. This type of bra doesn't have any designs or lace that would be visible through a thin top or sweater. Since the design is seamless it allows one to wear very thin T-shirts and tops while not having a bra that is visible to those who are looking at her. This type is a great bra for everyday wear.

Another needed style is the strapless design for use with strapless dresses, spaghetti strap tops and such. These new designs give great support and some even have removable straps. You want one that stays in place but doesn't fit so tight that it leaves marks on one's ribcage. The main thing that you want to have is security and there are many manufacturer's that offer invisible elastic reinforcement that keeps the bra in place without being too tight.

The next type is the deep plunge version for wear with shirts and dresses with plunging necklines. Most of these are unpadded and also tend to use more untraditional fabrics for holding the cups together. This design helps keep the bra from being seen when wearing low cut tops and dresses.

Push up bras do just what the name implies to give a woman a little something extra, some women may not need that but many do. The great thing about these is they can be worn with just about any type of shirt or sweater and they are available in a variety of fabrics with and without lace.

The final must have style is the T-back bra which is needed for warm weather clothing. These go great with tank tops and sleeveless styles. This design keeps the straps hidden and you should go with the type with the front clasps for the best support.
