You can buy mood candles or even floating candles. You can buy a large bowl that they can add water to and float their candles in to create a romantic and fun atmosphere.
Consider themed baskets of items. You can make a garden basket with gloves, shears, seeds, and stakes to label their plants. How about making a morning basket? This could contain mugs, coffee, coasters, a hot chocolate mix, honey, tea, or anything else the hosts may like.
Maybe they like a certain kind of cuisine. You can make an Italian food basket full of pasta, Sauce, a saucepan, a colander bread mix and pasta bowls. If they have a sweet tooth, how about making basket of sweets, candies and chocolates. If you can find a source of nostalgic candies, this can be a real treat. When they are finished with the items, they still have a basket to put items or even flowers in.
