Coffee Served Fresh From Home By Jim Brown
Coffee is said to be the most popular beverage in the world today. People drink it at the breakfast table at home, at the office during a much needed 15 minute stress break or at the nearby cafe while exchanging stories with a good friend. This love for coffee has made it a staple drink for most of us. And if your family is hooked on this beverage, then maybe it is time to get yourself your very own coffee maker so that you can make your delicious cups at home. Surely, your kitchen would love to have this addition.
Coffee aficionados would tell you that a drink of instant coffee mixed with water does not even compare to the satisfaction you will get from a sip of coffee acquired straight from the brew. The former for some is but coffee flavored water while the latter boasts of the full flavor and aroma that were extracted from the ground coffee. Perhaps the greatest advantage of having your own coffee maker is having control over your coffee. You get to decide on the quantity of coffee, the number of minutes set for the brewing process and the level of consistency of your coffee.
With a wide selection of coffee makers in the market today, you can be sure to choose one that would best suit your coffee cravings. However, there are several factors to consider in purchasing your coffee machine. First on the list is to identify what kind of coffee you want. Coffee has innovated throughout the years. It is not just a mix of ground coffee beans but now there are techniques and methods employed to enhance the flavor or add on to the taste. So figure out if you want the basic drip coffee and get the drip machine. Or go chic, choose an espresso coffee maker and get your lavish espresso shots at home. Let us look two of the more popular choices of these machines and figure out the best one for your kitchen.
Drip coffee makers
These coffee makers which may be manual or automatic are said to be the most common machines used in brewing coffee all over the world. It is fairly easy to use. All you need to do is just place in the finely ground coffee on the filter and pour in boiling hot water into the canister. Wait for the "drips" to accumulate and you have got yourself a cup of brewed coffee. The resulting brew has a light bodied taste albeit the flavor may not be as rich as some of the essences and oils of the coffee may have been caught in the filter.
Espresso coffee makers
Espresso coffee makers may be manual or automatic as well. The blend produced by these machines is more popularly known as an "espresso shot". Espressos go through a high pressured brewing process and as a consequence the shots are more concentrated. Although, an espresso shot boasts of a high concentration of the oils, proteins and sugars of coffee, it is said to actually contain less caffeine. Espresso machines are a little more expensive than other coffee machines and may not be that easy to operate.
Whatever kind of machine you choose, it is important that the brew that it generates should suffice the desires of your coffee lover heart.
